Kanak Acharya lost his father at an early age and had a difficult childhood. While studying in 7th grade, he started doing odd jobs to support his family. He left studies after 10th class and started working.

Kanak Acharya was interested in interior and furniture business. He examines every detail of furniture manufacturing. Took training in furniture making for five years. He also worked as a sub-contractor, doing manufacturing work from home.

From Central Bank of India Rs. Acharya took a loan of Rs 22 lakh. The loan was due in February 2023. Later he purchased machinery to make furniture. He started making modular kitchens, beds, cupboards, cabins etc. Kanak Acharya also supplies furniture to builders and construction companies. Now their turnover is Rs. 80 lakhs. He also provided employment to six people.

Countrywide expansion plan

Kanak Acharya is currently planning to expand his business across India. For this he is taking the help of Bharatiya Yuvashakti Trust. They get guidance from BYST regarding marketing strategy, product improvement and moving forward on day-to-day issues.
