NDSA’s final report on Kaleshwaram project- Words between Congress and BR
NDSA report has been released on Kaleshwaram project. The NDSA Expert Committee, which studied Digdda, Annaram and Sundila dams, presented the final report to the state government. Meaded Barrage event
- October 21, 2023 – The 7th Black 20 of Meadigda Barrage has fallen.
- October 22, 2023 – Chief Engineer and CDO of Kaleshwaram investigated the barrage area and presented a preliminary report to the state government.
- October 25, 2023 – A team of National Dam Safety Authority Expert Expert Experts Engineering Chief and Representatives of L&T Barrage Construction Company inspected the area of the barrage. On the 28th octor, the barrage was provided to the Ramagundam NCDA team.
- On November 1, 2023 – Experts from the National Dam Safety Authority have prepared a report with the reasons for the saga of the barrage. On 4 November, Telangana presented the government.
- On February 13, 2024, the state government has asked the NDSA to submit a comprehensive report to Madigadda, Sundila, Annaram and Barrage in view of the barrage. The NDSA has established a committee with seven experts to inspect three barrage of Kaleshwaram.
The Telangana government has appointed former Supreme Court Judge Justice Pinki Chandragosh to investigate irregularities in the construction of Kaleshwaram project.
Maintenance errors
The final report on the NDSA Kaleshwaram project was presented on 24 April 2025. Expert Committee, which studied Medigadda, Annaram and Sanindu, has built a barrage without public funds and created a deadly man -Mad disaster. The NDSA committee has indicated failure in the construction of the barrage, lack of quality control, operation of barrage and maintenance failures.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy performed a power point on the NDSA report on Tuesday. He alleged that the state had suffered a lot due to the BRS government. The NDSA has stated that the Kaleshwaram project has serious flaws. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy criticized BRS leaders for not being embarrassed even after the report.

BRS leader and former minister Harishrao said that Minister Uttam’s words were a lie on the NDSA report on Kaleshwaram project.
