Netflix scam: Netflix in the name of NEO cyber scam .. if not careful! Description
Cyber crimes continue to grow. Cyber criminals are trying to cheat people in various ways. A conspiracy is being done to believe in new policies and rob money. A new cyber scam is going on to make mail with the new Netflix OTT platform. Cyber criminals are cheating through these fairs.
How the scam is going on ..
Cyber criminals are sending fake e-mails to update their Netflix account and immediately update the payment details. If the details are not updated immediately, Netflix is mail. Netflix is being designed to send mail to mail and mail with logo. The ‘Update Account Now’ button will be clicked. Click there and update the details.
The fake Netflix page is open when pressed on the update button in the mail sent by the scammers. This web page is similar to the Netflix official page. Colors and logo are all visible. But it is fake. The box is open to enter the Netflick login details. After that, for the payment details update .. credits and debit card details are to be recorded.
If the user records the card details on that fake page .. then there is a risk that the money will disappear in their bank account. Cyber criminals are involved in fraud in the name of Netflix to exploit people’s money.
Follow these vigilance
- If the email appears from Netflix, take a look closely. Do not click on any link if there are no spelling mistakes and suspicious. See if this Netflix comes from the official mail (@netflix.com domain). If there is any difference, the wrong mail is fake.
- Netflick does not ask by email to update the payment details by email. remember this. So if you get a mail to update the payment, do not click on any link. If you have dough, you should go to the official app, web page and check.
- If you click on the link in Fake Mail .. then check the URL closely on the open page. Netflix begins with the official website. If any difference means is definitely fake.
- Do not click on suspicious links coming by mail. Once you go to the concerned platform, you should check the payment.
- If you click on the fake link and submit your card details, then see the bank statement immediately. If you have a scam, compile cyber crime immediately. It is advisable not to click on suspicious link from the original mail.
