PMAY Housing: Good news for the poor in AP, one more year spending for PMA homes, additional assistance to beneficiaries
PMAY Housing: State Housing and Communication and Communication relations are being raised by Kalusu Parthasaradhi, stating that the construction of 3 lakh houses will be completed by the end of June next June.
He said that if the state gave a total of 18.04 lakh houses between 2019-24, the previous government completed only 5.87 lakh houses and left 12.20 lakh houses.
Between 2014-19, the TDP government said it would provide Rs 50,000 to SC housing beneficiaries and 75,000 additional financial assistance to STS, but the previous government had canceled this additional assistance and reduced the unit price to Rs 1.80 lakh. He said that the final government had given only 30,000 rupees in this amount.

Minister Parthasaradhi said that the funds allocated for the construction of the House were converted into other schemes along with chaotic policies of the previous government.
The minister said that the government had issued orders on the 10th of this month to revive the additional assistance provided by the TDP. As per these orders, SC and BC beneficiaries will provide Rs. 50,000, ST beneficiaries Rs 75,000 and PVTGS will provide additional financial assistance.
These additional financial assistance applies to about 5,98,710 beneficiaries, who have already approved homes under PMY (Urban) BLC -1.0, PMAV (Gramen) -1.0 and PM Genman Schemes. Of these, 1,57,383 SC, 45,766 ST, 3,73,204 BCS and 22,357 PVTG beneficiaries were.
3000 crores on government
He said that the government will provide an additional Rs 3,219.75 crore additional burden on the government, but the decision of the state Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has decided to help the poor.
The government has completed 1.25 lakh housing structures and the remaining 7.25 lakh houses are being completed by March 2026. On the orders of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, 5.00 lakh houses will be completed by June this year and the remaining houses will be completed by March next year.

Parthasaradhi said that the government’s efforts to expand the deadline for the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Avas Yojana 1.0 scheme. He advised the beneficiaries to take advantage of this time and complete the construction quickly.
