A complaint was filed with the ACB to investigate the payments being made without the approval of the Finance Department, without the knowledge of the Chief Minister, who is the Chairman of HMDA, and without the permission of the RBI.

The complaint states that money was transferred in British currency to this operations account of Formula in London, in which the IT department had to pay Rs 8.06 crore due to non-exemption of income tax. ACB has been asked to investigate these cases. A case was registered against KTR, Arvind Kumar and BLN Reddy in this matter. It is still not clear who benefited from the violation of FEMA rules in cash payments to foreign countries.
