Rajanna Sirisila: In Rajanna Sirisila, two farmers handed over the title deeds of six acres of government land acquired illegally to Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and SP Akhil Mahajan on the eve of Sankranti festival. More than a thousand acres of government land has been transferred to Rajanna Sirisilla district.

Koonaveni Narasaiah of Sarampalli village of Tangallapalli mandal handed over 5 acres of government land in survey number 464/4 to Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and SP Akhil Mahajan on Wednesday. Similarly, Busalingam of Mandepalli handed over one acre of government land to the government in survey number 365/A/2.
A week ago, former Sarpanch of Laxmipur Mittapalli, Padma, while handing over the land documents to the government in the presence of the Collector and SP, had told that for the last few years, he has been in possession of two acres of government land and 3 acres of allotted land in Sarampalli.
Collector will recover the amount from farmer’s relative
The Collector said that those who have illegally acquired government lands have received investment assistance from Rythu Bandhu and PM Kisan and have also taken crop loans. The Collector announced that the money would be recovered. He said that Busa Lingam, to whom the land was handed over, not only acquired the government land illegally, but also took a crop loan by mortgaging the land in a bank. He said that demand notices will be given to those who voluntarily surrender the land and the amount of Rythu Bandhu will be recovered.

Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha requested that whoever encroaches on government land in the district should voluntarily surrender it to the government as soon as it is illegally acquired. They surrender it voluntarily and if they enter the field and If it is confiscated then legal action should be taken.
The Collector said that if government lands are acquired illegally and handed back to the government, those lands will be used for the welfare of poor people, distributed as plots for the poor and Indiramma houses. Will be used for construction. Both revenue officials and police are keeping an eye on the land grabbing routes, due to which the land grabbers are nervous. Engaged in voluntarily handing it over to the government.
