Aha Video OTT on Wednesday revealed that the film Razakar is streaming on their platform. He tweeted on his ex account. “The story of people getting armed and entering the battlefield to face the atrocities of the rulers, see this bloody story hidden in the pages of history.
The film is being streamed with the title “Watch Ahagold Now”. If you have a regular subscription other than AhaGold, you can watch this movie from Friday (January 24). The film was released on March 24 last year, exactly ten months later, on OTT.
What is Razakar Film?
Razakar film is based on real life events. Director Yatta Satyanarayan has presented the film Razakar on the themes of atrocities and violence committed by the Razakars during the Nizam’s rule. He has written this story inspired by true events. The film is based on the lives of many warriors martyred in the armed struggle of Telangana. The story revolves around the parallel people’s struggle towards Patel’s efforts to merge Hyderabad with India on the one hand and the atrocities of the Razakars on the other.
Razakar is not a special hero in the film. The director took the story forward in an interesting way by bringing a character on screen every ten-fifteen minutes. The film depicts the lives of people who were very popular in the armed struggle of Telangana and some historical events.
He tried to tell what actually happened without distorting history. All the stories shown in Razakar’s film are mostly known stories. However, he has written the scenes so that everyone can connect with the emotions and drama. Shoybullah Khan, Chakali Ailamma, Raja Reddy and many other leaders have been presented on screen in an inspirational manner.
