Sangareddy Job Fair: Special job fair for disabled in Sangareddy, 57 shortlist, 8 jobs

Sangareddy Job Fair: District Collector Valluri Kranthi said that it is a matter of pleasure to provide employment to the disabled in Sangareddy district by giving them jobs in the private sector. Collector Vallur Kranthi inaugurated the job fair organized jointly by the District Employment Department, Women Child Disability and Elderly Welfare Department to provide employment to the disabled in the district at the Sangareddy Collector Office meeting hall on Wednesday.

Economic development of the disabled should be done.

The Collector said that in order to provide better employment opportunities to the disabled in the district, a job fair has been organized under the joint aegis of the Employment Department, District Women and Child Welfare and Old Age and Disabled Welfare Department. Collector said that in this employment fair, a special employment fair has been organized to provide jobs as per their qualifications in various corporate companies and private sector companies of the district.

200 companies have come forward

Disabled people of the district should take advantage of the opportunity of the fair organized for employment generation. The Collector said that the government is running various welfare schemes to enable the disabled to live a better life like a common citizen. They want to use these for economic development of the disabled. 32 companies have come forward to provide about 200 jobs in the employment fair.

The District Collector said that around 156 persons with disabilities participated in the employment fair, 57 shortlisted candidates and eight candidates were given appointment documents. The Collector said that there are about five thousand different types of companies in Sangareddy district.

Mega job fair is coming soon….

The Collector said that all the companies of the district will participate in the mega job fair to be organized next month, due to which steps will be taken to provide employment opportunities to more and more disabled people and other unemployed people. On this occasion, the District Magistrate honored District Employment Officer Anil Kumarji and District Women Welfare Officer Lalita Kumari for organizing the job fair in a short time.

Officials of concerned departments, Youth for Jobs manager Ashwin, representatives of various companies and others participated in this program. Speaking on this occasion, the disabled people expressed gratitude for organizing a special employment fair for them.
