Sankranti Vasthunnam Review: Sankranti Vasthunnam Review – Venkatesh, Anil Ravipudi Movie Hitta? Fatta?

Sankranti Vasthunnam Review: After F2 and F3, we are coming to the movie Sankranti made by hero Venkatesh and director Anil Ravipudi combo. Released as a family entertainer, the film starred Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Choudhary as the heroines. This film has been produced by Dil Raju. How is this film, which was released in theaters on Tuesday as a Sankranti gift?

Story of an encounter specialist…

IPS officer Yadagiri Damodar Raju alias YD Raju (Venkatesh) makes his mark as an encounter specialist. He encounters more than a hundred. He resigns from the police job and comes home suspended for a mistake he did not commit. He marries Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) and settles down as a son-in-law. Bhagyalakshmi considers her husband as the moon of Shri Ram. She thinks Raju is stalking some other girl and there is no love story in her flashback.

At such a time, his ex-girlfriend Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary) comes looking for Raj. How is Raja torn between his wife and ex-girlfriend? Why did Biju Pandey’s gang kidnap Akela (Srinivasa Avasara), a businessman who came to Telangana from America?

What is the reason why CM (Senior Naresh) hands over the responsibility of freeing Akela to Raju and Meenakshi? Why did his wife Bhagyam accompany the king on this secret expedition? Why did Raju, who loved Meenakshi, start staying away from her? The story of the movie Sankranti Sankranti is why the real YD Raju left the police job.

From action to romance…

There is no genre that Venkatesh has not touched in his long film journey. He has done films with all types of stories from action, factionalism to romance and comedy. But family entertainers brought him more success and fame. Once again we are bringing Venkatesh’s favorite genre of film Sankranti. Anil Ravipudi’s style is to please the audience more with comedy than with the story. By following the same rules as the first film, he is getting continuous success. We are bringing the third film of their combo, Sankranti.

Crime thriller elements…

Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s comedy range has already been proven in F2 and F3 films. This time director Anil Ravipudi has written the story of Sankranti Sankranti, in which elements of crime thriller have also been included instead of just comedy.

Anil Ravipudi tried to please the audience with situational comedy instead of creating entertainment with different tracks like the previous films. Simply put, it is the story of a former IPS officer who goes along with his wife and girlfriend to solve a kidnapping mission. From here the director adopted all kinds of tricks for entertainment.

Wife’s jealousy and hatred…

How will the wife feel when she comes to know that there is another girl in her husband’s life who thinks he is a holy Ram… The comedy arising out of those jealous hatreds and suspicions is very funny. When the beloved learns that the lover who had promised to wait for her is married, her pain and suffering is depicted in a humorous manner.

Without any complaints…

The film starts by introducing the character of Venky as a powerful police officer. The film goes smoothly until it shows Raju resigning from the police job and breaking up with Meenakshi and settling in Rajahmundry with Bhagyalakshmi. The first half goes smoothly without any complaints with Raju, the Bhagyam romance, the ruckus of Raju’s son in the role of Bull Reddy. On one hand the family element…on the other hand scenes of Akela’s arrival in India and his kidnapping were shown.

Complications…

The second part Bhagyam revolves around Raju’s plan with Meenakshi to free Akela and the confusion between them. Anil Ravipudi has written all these scenes to create entertainment. As Ponuponu’s story becomes serious, the dose of entertainment diminishes. A small message was given at the end, but it did not add much to the film.

No logic…

There is no logic in Anil Ravipudi’s films, only magic. It is seen in this film also that the drama of kidnapping does not match the entertainment. The comedy in the crucial second part is not up to par. The placement of the songs and the quality of picturization did not look good on the screen.

In a normal role…

Till now, Venkatesh has done many roles where he is torn between his wife and his girlfriend. Being a familiar character, Raju easily got into the character. He took smart steps in the songs. Aishwarya Rajesh fits the role of Bhagyam. In some scenes he acted dominating Venkatesh. Meenakshi Choudhary is seen in a role which has scope for acting. Senior Naresh, Saikumar, VTV Ganesh and the rest of the cast impressed with their comedy.

Bheem’s songs and BGM are great assets of this film. Godari Gattu song gives good vibes in theatres. Cinematography is good.

Timepass movie…

Coming to Sankranti is a time pass family entertainer. This movie is a good option to watch with the whole family this Sankranthi. If you keep logic aside you can enjoy the film.
