Why stay ..
In most parts of the United Karimnagar district, agriculture is not beneficial due to frequent drought, lack of proper irrigation facilities and increase in investment costs. This is because farmers are in debt. Families who trust agriculture do not get adequate employment locally.
Encouragement of agents.
People are going for a better life, assuming that Saudi Arabia has good wages and other facilities. Some private agents are encouraging migration for people of rural people, who are expecting to provide good jobs in the Gulf. Some believe that after the formation of the Telangana state, jobs and financial stability have not been met.
With the closure of factories ..
Once, the United Karimnagar district had several Chinese factories. As soon as they stopped, sugarcane farmers lost their jobs and migrated. The migration seems not only due to financial reasons, but also due to social conditions and personal aspirations. Apart from the people of Karimnagar district, residents of Nizamabad and Warangal districts are also working in other countries due to lack of employment.
