SLBC Tunnel Fall: A deadly accident occurred on Saturday morning at Srisailam Left Canal Tunnel (SLBC). At 8.30 am, the roof of the tunnel collapsed and 8 workers were trapped. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jupalli Krishnaarao are overseeing rescue operations at the accident site to protect the workers. The ministers said that eight workers trapped in the SLBC tunnel were from other states. Officers are taking steps to protect two engineers and six laborers in the SLBC tunnel incident. The ministers said that NDRF was also called.
