- The worst accident occurred in Srisailum Left Canal Tunnel (SLBC). According to official sources, the roof of the tunnel collapsed at 8.30 am on Saturday at 8.30 am in SLBC Inlet Tunnel near Domalpanta in Nakarkaranul district.
- The workers went inside the tunnel through the loco train after crossing 07.30 pm. With the onset of boring mission…. The noise was heard loudly. The water leaked in the tunnel.
- Engineering sources say that about a hundred meters of water and soil get trapped from the place where work is currently going on. The roof collapsed and the power supply stopped and everything inside was dark. All were suffocated inside. The conveyor belt climbed and reached the loco train, which was a short distance.
