Smita Sabarwal: IAS Smita Sabarwal in controversy

Smita Sabarwal: Telangana IAS officer Smita Sabharwal has been entangled in another controversy. Audit officials are expected to take steps to recover vehicles from him, as the audit officials objected to paying payment from the Agricultural University for the Smita vehicle. Telangana Agricultural Varity expected to issue a notice to Smita Sabharwal for paying Rs 61 lakh for a rented car in 90 months.

When the BRS government was in power, IAS officer Smita Sabarwal served as additional general secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. At that time, he rented a payment of Rs 61 lakh from Telangana Agricultural Versity Fund. The Versity Governing Council has decided to issue a notice to him as these payments are incorrect in audit inspections. This is a plan to issue notice to Smita Sabharwal soon.

Professor Jaishankar rented a vehicle used by Sabarwal for 90 months from Telangana Agricultural University. Innova’s car was paid Rs 63000 per month.

From October 2016 to March 2024, Smita Sabarwal paid the amount in the form of rent. Innova car TS 08 EA 6345 was rented in payment by Versity. This car does not have a taxi plate. The government has suffered losses by renting individual vehicles. The car was used in the name of a person named Pawan Kumar, while she was in Smita Seva. Versity Management paid her from Smita Sabarwal office every month with the arrival of a vehicle receipt.

What is the calculation of audit objection ..

When the audit officials objected, there was an objection as to why Versity had to pay rent, while Smita Sabharwal was working in CMO. Smita, who holds the post of Additional Secretary to BRS government, has been questioned as to why the central government officials have been questioned by the central government officials on the rent of the vehicle from agricultural diversity under the aegis of the Central Government officials.

These aspects were seen in an audit held in agricultural diversity from August 2024 to December. Vishi Janaya said that 12 objections in the audit have also been paid by the current Tourism Secretary Smita Sabarwal.

On the other hand, Smita Sabharwal explained to the media that the payment was made according to the payment of the car. He said that he was in the CM’s office till November 2023 and it was unfair to take the vehicle fare by March 2024.
