Stock Market Holiday: Today’s stock market vacation- reason for the reason ..
Today, in view of Maha Shivaratri, the national stock market is a holiday. Sensex and Nifty will be closed on Wednesday. As per the holiday schedule issued by NSE and BSE, trading activities will be resumed on Thursday after the mid -volume interval.
Trading in the Mudra derivative category will be stopped in honor of 2025 Maha Shivaratri on Wednesday. However, it should be remembered that the commodity market is closed in the morning session and will be reopened for trading at 5:00 pm.
This means that there will be no business activities in equity, equity derivative and SLB areas on 26 February. Apart from this, trade in the Indian stock market is also trading in the currency derivative category. As mentioned earlier, the commodity market works from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

There were 18 stock market holidays in 2025. Mahashivaratri was the first holiday of this year! In February 2025, Mahashivarti was a holiday for the stock market. Next, the next holiday will be on Holi on 14 March 2025. In March, Holi’s 31st, Eid ul Fitter (Ramadan Eid) will have two market holidays.
For the end of the annual bank on 1 April, Mr. Mahavir Jayati on April 10, Dr. Bra Ambedkar Jayanti will be discharged on 14 April and Good Friday. Maharashtra Day will be held on May 1 and Buddha Purnima on 12 May. In June 2025, there are no original holidays in the stock market.

Stock Market Update ..
