Tax collection: Two municipalities in Karimnagar have recorded a record 100 % tax. Hujurabad and Jammintaku have set a record in collecting taxes before the deadline.

The end of the financial year of 2024–25 is only ten days. Municipal officials have been in the process of collecting property in this financial year. Municipal services are being suspended by issuing red notice to collect pending property. They are also engaged in tax collection.

Without such action, two municipalities in Karimnagar district, Hujurabad and Jammintaku topped the state by collecting 100% assets. While there are 143 municipalities in Telangana, Huzurabad and Jammimantku municipalities set a record in the state 11 days before the deadline.

In Hujurabad …

The municipality of Huzurabad has 30 wards and 8917 residences. 2 crore rupees 64 lakh Bonnie tax is outstanding. The employees launched a special campaign with the initiative of Commissioner Sammaiah on transfer two months ago. 100 % managed to collect domestic taxes.

For 8917 residences, Rs 2 crore 64 lakh has been collected before the deadline. 5 lakh 41 thousand from government offices, Rs 3 lakh 80 thousand through court buildings, Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand, Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand and agricultural market committee through MPDVO office. Commissioner Sammaiah said that funds from the Central Government from the 15th Finance Committee could be accelerated as they were collected 100 percent. The Commissioner thanked the municipal employees for paying 100 percent taxes.

In jammintaku …

Jammintaku has 30 wards and 12484 residences in the municipality. Being a commercial center, there are commercial complexes. Property tax outstanding of three crore rupees. In the same assembly constituency, two municipalities collect 100 % tax. Employees of two municipalities are congratulating the employees.

Red notice in Karimnagar …

Employees of Karimnagar City Governing Body are issuing red notices for property tax collection. During the holidays, they focus on tax collection. Commissioner Chaht Job Pi is also visiting the city on holidays and issuing red notices to employees for a collection of property tax arrears.

Municipal services are being suspended for those who have not received red notices. Municipal Nalla connection is being removed. Although tax collection is the main goal, 70% tax has not been collected yet. If the situation in Karimnagar, both the municipalities are collecting 100% of the people of Karimnagar and want to tax the people of Karimnagar.
