TDP on Deputy CM issue: Demand for Deputy CM for Lokesh, TDP leadership responded
TDP on Deputy CM issue: The party leadership has issued major orders on the demands coming from TDP leaders to give the status of Deputy CM to Minister Nara Lokesh. Party leaders were instructed not to talk on the issue of Deputy CM. It has been advised that no one should make any public statement on this issue in front of the media. It has been announced that the alliance leaders will sit and discuss any decision. The statement said that personal opinions should not be imposed on the party.
During CM Chandrababu’s visit to YSR district Maidukuru…Cuddapah District President Srinivas Reddy said…Nara Lokesh was proposed to be made Deputy CM. His motion was supported by Deputy Chairman Raghuramakrishnan Raju and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy. He expressed his opinion that Lokesh should be given the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Later many leaders spoke openly on this issue. Former Pithapuram MLA SVSN Verma and Rajahmundry Urban MLA Adireddy Vasu made public comments calling for Nara Lokesh to be made the Deputy CM.
As TDP leaders are making public announcements one by one, the administration is on alert. The TDP leadership felt that it was not appropriate for him to express his personal views. It was made clear that the alliance leaders will sit and discuss and take decisions on such sensitive issues. In this background, party leaders have been instructed not to speak publicly on this issue.
