TG Cyber Crime: Do not fall into the trap of cyber fraudsters..Telangana Cyber Security Bureau warns!
Cyber fraudsters are giving false promises of daily income and chain business to recruit new members. They are cheating that they will pay commission. Innocent people are being made cyber victims. Sangareddy Cyber Cell DSP Venu Gopal Reddy advised to be cautious about such multi-level marketing businesses. It is clear that such fraudulent multi-level marketing businesses should be avoided.

These multilevel marketing scams..are not real, profitable business activities. Relying on new investments to pay off old investors. Only those at the top of the pyramid receive significant benefits. Most of the investors lose their hard earned money by investing in it. Most of these are those who work abroad. The money collected is used in anti-national activities. This is a threat to national security.
These are the precautions..
1. Beware of false promises: Understand that luxury cars, foreign trips, high returns are just traps laid by fraudsters. Real businesses never make huge profits overnight.
2. Recognize company names: Fraudsters misuse the names of reputable companies to commit fraud. Visit the official outlet, office to identify that company.
3. Avoid chains: Do not invest in any scheme that requires recruitment of new members to generate income.
4. Do not attend programs:- Fraudsters use motivational talks, impressive events, presentations to mislead. Don’t get involved in these.
5. Be alert: Be alert on social media like WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook. These are used to trap you in cyber traps.
6.Protection of personal data: Do not click on any suspicious APK file, link or apps. These may include malware designed to steal your sensitive information.
7. Do your due diligence: Beware of fraudulent pump-and-dump schemes that create artificial demand for worthless crypto currencies.
8. Cross Check: If you want to make any investment, check the sites of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Securities and Exchange Board of India.
9.Do not deposit money: Do not transfer money to any person or account without complete information.
10. Raise awareness: Educate family members, friends about such scams.
