TG Indiramma Housing Scheme: List of beneficiaries of Indiramma in Gram Sabhas – This is the first priority..!
State Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that in the first phase, Indiramma houses will be given to those who own land. Indiramma Indala Scheme was reviewed with officials in the Secretariat today. On this occasion, inquiries were made on many issues.
Ponguleti said Indiramma houses will be made available to all those who are eligible. It has been clarified that the list of beneficiaries of Indiramma will be declared transparently in the Gram Sabhas. He emphasized that in the second phase, along with the house land, Indiramma’s house will also be built.
Minister Ponguleti spoke during the review. Officials were advised to maintain two lists relating to eligible beneficiaries for Indiramma houses in the Gram Sabhas, the list of those who owned residential land and the list of those who did not own residential land. He said that we are carrying out the construction of Indiramma houses step by step.
Officials said that at present there are only 274 engineers in the Housing Corporation. On the occasion, the Minister’s attention was drawn to the requirement of 400 more engineers for construction and supervision of Indiramma houses in the State. Minister Ponguleti has suggested CS Shanti Kumari to look into how the services of engineering staff can be utilized in other government departments.
Minister Ponguleti directed officials to prepare a special action plan for construction of houses within the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Recruitment of surveyors soon
Minister Ponguleti wanted clarity that surveyors and village officers would be appointed soon. It was revealed that at present there are 450 surveyors in the state. He said that he needs one thousand more surveyors. In this context, instructions were given to prepare a plan for the selection of surveyors.
For this, the Minister suggested that eligible candidates should be selected from VROs and VRAs and a separate examination should be conducted. The officials were instructed to immediately prepare the procedures related to this examination and make necessary arrangements for the conduct of the examination.
