TG Indiramma Housing Scheme: Supply of bricks and sand for Indiramma houses like.. 10 important points
Indiramma Housing Scheme will start soon. The government is taking smart steps to start this scheme. In this backdrop, the government has focused on materials required for construction of houses. Apart from benefiting the beneficiaries by distributing these materials, Revanth Sarkar is also trying to support women groups. Know here 10 important things related to this.
1. The government has decided to make the bricks required for Indiramma houses by making them by women’s groups and making them available to the beneficiaries.
2. In the first phase, the government has made arrangements to approve a total of 4.16 lakh houses at the rate of 3,500 houses per assembly constituency.
Officials estimate that around 112 lakh cubic meters of sand, 40.50 lakh tonnes of cement, 68 lakh tonnes of steel and 101 crore bricks will be required to construct 3.416 lakh houses.
4. The list of beneficiaries of Indiramma Awas will be prepared by organizing gram sabhas in the third week of January. These will be sent to the ministers in charge for approval.
5. If we get the approval of the Minister in-charge.. the process of implementation of this scheme will be expedited. In the first phase, Indiramma houses will be given to those who have their own land. As a result, the government hopes that the construction process will start immediately.
6. The government is also making arrangements to ensure that there is no shortage of bricks during house construction. Preparations are being made to establish three brick making units per division under the aegis of women’s associations.
7. The government has decided to provide loans up to Rs 18 lakh per unit through SERP for setting up brick units. Bricks will be supplied to Indiramma houses through these units.
8. Relevant guidelines for setting up brick manufacturing units and price of bricks will be decided jointly by the officials of Housing and Panchayat Raj Department.
9. It seems that the government is thinking of providing free sand to the beneficiaries of Indiramma. For this, officials have been ordered to identify access points in drains and rivers.
10. The government has also focused on the supply of steel and cement. If steel and cement are taken together in bulk, there are opportunities to negotiate with companies who come forward to offer it at a lower price. The government is trying to provide one bag of cement for Rs 260 and one ton of steel for Rs 54 thousand.
