TG MLC Election 2025: 144 sections at polling stations – MLC election system for them, special holiday for them

Medak-Nizamabad-Karimnagar-Adilabad Graduate and Teachers constituency MLC election voting. A total of 773 polling stations have been set up in all 15 districts. Arrangements have been made to ensure continuous monitoring from the control room.

Election Returning Officer and Karimnagar District Collector Pamela Satpathi said that the system of alliance for the voting process to be held on 27 February has been completed. The Collector revealed several MLC elections on the occasion. There are 56 candidates for Graduate MLC seat and 15 candidates for teacher seat. Graduate MLC voters claim that there are 3 lakh 55 thousand 159. Teacher MLC voters have revealed that there are 27 thousand 88. There are 499 graduate polling stations and 274 teachers in polling stations in all districts. He said that 93 general polling stations (graduates and teachers) were established. Overall, 773 polling stations will be held in all districts.

The Collector made it clear that voter ID card is mandatory for voters to vote in these elections. The Central Election Commission has been asked to exercise its right to vote in 12 types of identity cards.

Voting will be held from 8 am to 4 pm. After the voting ends, the ballots of all the districts will be taken to the reception center at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar. Section 144 will be implemented with strong security at polling stations. He informed that along with monitoring CC cameras, there will be a continuous monitoring from the control room. Voters are urged to exercise their franchise in a free environment without any temptation.
