Exercise for local bodies elections
Meanwhile, the Telangana State Election Commission has started practice for local bodies elections. The district has selected the master of trainers and state resource persons on ten people to manage the election. CEC will be trained in MPTC, JDPTC and Panchayat elections. The Election Commission has already trained Master of Trainers and State Resource Persons in MCHRD.
CECA has issued important directions to the district collectors. Mandla, Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Returning Officers have been ordered to complete the selection by 10 February. Returning officers for Panchayats, Mandla Parishad and District Council elections will be completed by 12 February. Polling officers and assistant polling officers have been ordered to complete the training within 15 months. The Telangana Election Commission has ordered the polling staff to complete the training with the master of the trainers.
