TG New Ration Card: Your name is not in the new ration card list? But apply like this

TG New Ration Cards: Telangana government has announced that four new schemes will be launched from 26th of this month. One of these is the new ration card. Ration card is very important to get welfare schemes. White ration cards are issued to those below the poverty line. The process of issuing new ration cards has started in the state. The complete list of people selected for the new ration card will be released from 26th of this month. But at many places the lists got leaked due to the activeness of the officials. People complain that their name is not there in these. Ministers and officials suggest that if the name is not in the list then you can apply again. Officials announced that people eligible for the new ration cards will be decided in gram sabhas.

The ministers have clarified that the process of issuing ration cards will continue. The Civil Supplies Department said that those whose names are not in the list related to ration card can apply for the card in the gram sabhas organized in their villages from 21st to 24th of this month. Also, out of 12,07,558 applications received for adding names of family members to the existing cards, 18,00,515 names have been announced to be included as per the eligibility criteria. Also, the Civil Supplies Department said that they will consider the applications received through public radio.

Gram Sabhas from today

Civil Supplies Department said that gram sabhas have been organized from today till 24th of this month. CS Shanti Kumari said that for the new ration card, information of 6,68,309 cards related to 11,65,052 people across the state has been prepared. In respect of another 1.36 crore people, information of 41.25 lakh cards will be disclosed as per the requirement. CS Shanti Kumari has issued instructions to the collectors to take applications for new ration cards in the gram sabhas to be held from today. It is advised to enter details related to Aadhar card, address, phone number and caste of the family members.

What if the name is not in the list?

People whose name is not in the ration card list should complete the application in the Gram Sabha and submit it to the authorities. The officials will scrutinize the applications and will give instructions to provide the ration card if all the qualifications are met. People should keep ready with them the information that the officers ask from them. Sabhas will also be set up in wards in cities and towns like Hyderabad.
