Tirumala Alert: Dense fog on Tirumala Ghat Road, TTD appeals to drivers to travel with caution

Tirumala Alert: TTD has appealed to the drivers traveling on Tirumala Ghat Road to remain cautious due to dense fog. TTD has advised motorists to be cautious while traveling on Ghat Road as there is a possibility of accidents due to dense fog at the second Ghat leading to Tirumala. On Monday, smoke spread due to burning of UPS wire at counter 47 of Shriwari Laddu sales center. The crew was immediately alerted and the smoke was controlled.

‘Gopuja Mahotsav’ at SV Gaushala on 15th January

Gopuja Mahotsav will be organized at Sri Venkateswara Cow Sanctuary in Tirupati on the occasion of Kanuma festival on January 15. From 8 to 9 pm, students of Sri Venkateswara Vedic School, Tirumala will perform Vedic recitation. From 8 to 10.30 am, there will be bhajans with artists from Das Sahitya Project, Sankirtan programs with artists from Kolatalu and Annamacharya Project.

Gopuja, Venugopalaswamy Harathi, Tulsi puja, Gobbemma ceremony, Gajapuja, Ashvapuja, Vrishabha puja will be performed in the presence of Sri Venugopalaswamy from 10 am to 11.30 am. Cultural programs will take place from 11.45 to 12 noon. Darshan of Sri Venugopala Swamy and Prasad will be distributed from 12 noon.

On the day of Gopuja Mahotsav, TTD provides an opportunity to the devotees to feed jaggery, rice and grass to the cows. Devotees are requested to take advantage of this opportunity and become worthy of the blessings of Mother Cow and Swami.
