Tirumala: Rathsaptami in Tirumala on February 4 – seven vehicle services in a day, TTD’s major instructions for devotees
TTD EO Shyamala Rao ordered the officials to complete the system of Rathsaptami on time. He said, the Rathsaptami festival will be held on 4 February in the style of Small Brahmotsavam in Tirumala.

On Friday, EO Shyamala Rao held a meeting with Additional EO Venkaiah Chaudhary with officials of various departments at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala. Evo advised the authorities to be more vigilant in the entry and exit areas of the devotee gallery.
Evo Shyamala Rao ordered the devotees to make arrangements to provide food and drinking water on time. It is advisable to take precautionary steps to avoid safety and traffic problems. He later inspected the arrangement of four roads of Mada along with the officials.
On the day of Rathsaptami, Shri Malayappa Swami will take out a procession on seven vehicles from morning to evening to bless the devotees. Every year in Tirumala, Rathsaptami is celebrated on the occasion of Surya Jayanti on Shukla Paksha Saptami Tithi.
Vehicle Service Description:
- 5.30 in the morning – 8 morning (sunrise 6.44) – Surya Prabha Vahan
- 9 – 10 am – Small remnant vehicle
- From 11 am to 12 noon – Garuda Vehicle
- 1 to 2 pm – Hanuman vehicle
- 2 to 3 pm- Chakra bath
- 4 to 5 pm – Kalp tree vehicle
- 6 to 7 pm – Sarvabhupal vehicle
- From 8 to 9 pm – Chandraprabha Vahanam
Cancel of privilege trips:
On the occasion of Rathsaptami, TTD canceled Ashtadal Pad Padmaradhana, Kalyanotsavam, Ojal Seva, Earned Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankar services that day. Apart from this, it has also been decided to cancel the privilege visits of NRIs, parents of orphans, senior citizens and disabled persons.
VIP brake philosophy has been canceled except protocol dignitaries. No recommendation letter will be accepted for a break visit on 03 February.
TTD has asked the devotees to report in the Vaikuntham queue complex only at the appointed time to avoid waiting for the devotees with special entrance darshan (SED) tickets.
