Today’s Top Gains and Losses: The financial market witnessed significant fluctuations on January 22, 2025 based on the performance of major indices. Nifty 50 index closed at 23024.65, up 0.57 percent. The index touched a high of 23169.55 and a low of 22981.3 during the trading session. Sensex also showed a positive trend and closed at 75838.36 with a gain of 0.75% (566.63 points).
The mid-cap index lagged behind the Nifty 50 as the Nifty Mid-cap 50 ended with a loss of 1.26 per cent. Nifty Small Cap fell 283.95 points or 1.63 percent and closed at 17456.5.

Wipro (3.60%), Infosys (3.10%), Tata Consultancy Services (2.99%), Tech Mahindra (2.65%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (2.06%) were the gainers in the Nifty index.
Bharat Electronics (3.10%), Tata Motors (2.37%), Trent (1.93%), Power Grid Corporation of India (1.59%), Axis Bank (1.12%) were among the losers.
Bank Nifty touched an intraday high of 48781.75 points and low of 48074.05 points.

Top Losers: Polycab India, Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, L&T Finance, Phoenix Mills.

Top Gainers: Multi Commodity Exchange of India, Five Star Business Finance, Tejas Network, Manappuram Finance, Natco Pharma.
Top Losers: Aditya Birla Real Estate, Indiamart, Tanla Platform, KEC International, Titagarh Rail System.
