UPI New Testament: New Testament in UPI .. Similar transactions do not work since 1 February

The new rules for UPI payment will be applicable from 1 February. In today’s digital age, mobile phones will be scanned and purchased for everyday life, milk, curd and vegetables. From 1 February, there will be a major change in payment in UPI transaction ID.

Special characters are invalid

UPI with special characters/symbols from 1 February Exchange The National Payment Corporation of India said that it would not accept the ID. A circular was also released on 9 January. According to this circular, only letters and numbers should be used when creating UPI transactions ID. The transaction ID with special characters does not accept.

The amount is sent ..

If you send the amount to the UPI transaction IDS with such special signals, they will be rejected. In the UPI payment system, Palgon companies and individuals need to convert transaction IDs into the correct format. These changes are being made according to the UPI structure. As part of it, transaction IDs such as special letters and symbols are not allowed.

Growing transactions

The NPCI said that from February 1, UPI transactions with special letters will not be approved by UPI. UPI payment users have been growing over the years. According to the December 2024 data, the number of transactions received by UPI has reached 16.73 billion.

Only letters, numbers

According to the NPCI circular .. UPI transactions with special characters will not work from 1 February. Only letters and numbers should be used for UPI transaction ID. UPI transaction ID closed with special characters. NPCI has already removed the IDS which have not been in use for one year. The UPI transaction ID will have to be followed according to changes.
