Vande Bharat Express: Update for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana passengers – Seats doubled in Vande Bharat coach, huge hike..!

Passenger traffic in Telugu states increases significantly during the festival of Sankranti. Along with railway stations, bus stands and main intersections are seen filled with passengers. In view of the rush of passengers… South Central Railway has given an important update. It has been announced to increase the number of coaches in the Vande Bharat train running between Visakha and Secunderabad. These coaches will be available from January 13.

Huge increase in seats…

South Central Railway has said that the number of coaches in Hyderabad-Vishakhapatnam-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express (20707/20708) will be increased from 8 to 16. The current number of seats is 530. But with the addition of new coaches, it has been announced that the number of seats in Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express will increase to 1128.

Till now, 530 people are traveling daily in 8 coaches (1 executive, 7 chaircar coaches). But with the latest decision the number of seats will reach 1,128. From now on, 1,024 people will travel in 14 chair car coaches and 104 people will travel in 2 executive coaches. Officials said that all these new bogies will be available from tomorrow.

During the Sankranti rush, South Central Railway officials have taken safety measures. Arrangements have been made to provide more services to the passengers. While special trains have been made available… more announcements can be made as per requirement. Additional ticket counters and inquiry counters are being provided at major railway stations and are being increased depending on the traffic.
