Village Ward Secretary: The state government has taken an important decision on the rationalization of employees of village and ward secretaries. Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneyaswamy has announced that it has decided to rationalize the employees of the secretariat as A, B and Marine categories. The minister met village and ward secretariat trade unions on Monday. Employees have promoted the minister and presented the PRC. The minister said that the employees of the secretariat have decided to make rational as A, B and C categories.
Committee with senior officials
Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneyaswami said that the committee will be appointed with senior officials and will make service rules. Officials of the officials are considering the issue of rationalization. It is suggested that some people are creating misunderstandings with this process and not to believe them. The minister clarified that no employee was removed. Some branches have many vacancies. In the case of women police, a decision will be taken in the department of women and children and the department of home affairs.
The government has divided the employees of the secretariat into multi -purpose actions, technical officers and aspirational workers. Currently, there are 1,30,694 employees in 15,004 villages and ward secretaries (11,162 grams and 3,842 ward secretaries) across the state. Secretaries with a population of 2,500 were divided into any category, 2,501 to 3,500 people and more than 3,501. The employees of the secretariat will be reduced to it.
Adjustment in other branches
Out of 2,500 people, six (any category), 2,501 to 3,500, seven people (BEE category) and more than 3,501 are allocated to the Secretariat (Marine Category). Around 40,000 employees are abandoned with partitions of employees. The government will use them for various departments in other departments.
Village and Ward Secretariat Director Shivprasad has focused on filling surplus employees in government departments. Officials of Engineering Department, Social and BC Welfare Department held two days’ meetings. Currently, the details of vacancies are discussed in the concerned departments and the filling of employees of the village and ward secretariat. Trade unions are demanding promotion channels.
