Vizag Steel Plant: Vizag Steel Plant Rs. Package of Rs 11,440 crore..whose credit? Why war?
Visakha Steel Industries.. A company associated with the sentiments of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Central Government has announced that such an institution will be privatized. A decision has been taken for 100 percent privatization under the DIPAM scheme. Protests took place across Andhra Pradesh. After this, there were movements on issues like dismissal of employees, dismissal of contract employees, non-payment of salaries.
At first I didn’t believe it..
After the formation of AP coalition government, Union Minister Kumaraswamy came to Visakhapatnam. He said that privatization will still not happen. But…laborers and employees did not agree. Even after his arrival, salaries were not paid properly. Due to this many people left Visakha and went to different places. At this very time the Central Government made an important announcement. Vizag Steel Plant Rs. Announcement of a package of Rs 11,440 crore.
To give edge to both the parties…
Although this announcement is good.. but it has taken a political turn. TDP and YCP claim that they are the reason behind the announcement of the package for Vizag Steel Plant. Union Minister Kumaraswamy also talked about promoting both the parties. Especially, despite being a partner in the NDA alliance, TDP was given a little more publicity. There is an opinion that Telugu Desam Party has got more credit in this regard.
About YCP…
Union Minister Kumaraswamy made important remarks while announcing the package for Vizag Steel Plant. In January 2021, the Central Government has decided to 100 percent privatize Visakha Steel under the DIPAM scheme. However, the then AP government at that time passed a resolution in the Assembly opposing the decision, Kumaraswamy remarked. YCP is sharing the video related to this on social media. Because YCP was in power then. YCP leaders are saying that this package has been announced because of Jagan.
About TDP…
Last year on October 9, we met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with current AP CM Chandrababu. After discussion till 2 o’clock in the night, she agreed to some financial help. After this we formed a committee. MECON has been entrusted with the responsibility of studying and submitting a report on what should be done to revive the plant. Kumaraswamy said, based on the report of that organization, we discussed in the cabinet sub-committee and decided on a package of Rs 11,440 crore. TDP is propagating that this package is possible only because of Chandrababu.
BJP likes this…
BJP says, ‘NDA alliance will never stand behind the development of steel plants in Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam.’ In the year 2000, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee sanctioned Rs. It is clear that Rs 1,333 crore has been given. This year again under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi for the development of Vizag Steel Plant Rs. BJP is campaigning that it has announced a package of Rs 11,440 crore. However, whoever gets the credit, people are expressing their opinion that something good has happened with the steel plant.
