VJA to Machilipatnam: Vijayawada-Machilipatnam Highway Extension
NHAI has launched Vijayawada-Machilipatnam National Highway 65. As part of the project which connects national highways with ports .. This road will be widened to the Machiliptam port. A comprehensive project report is being prepared for this purpose. There are 10 important factors related to it.
1. The National Highway from Vijayawada to Machilipatnam is 63 km. Amravati Outer Ring Road has been crossed near Chalivendrapalam near Kankipadu and Uryuru.
2. From Chalivendrapalam to Machilipatnam, 44 km of the current 4 row road will be widened in six rows. The Ongol-Kadupudi National Highway near Machiliptam is with two rows. It is spread over 4 km four rows to Machvaram Rice Mills.
3. The new road will be built with four rows of 3.7 km from Machavaram Rice Mill. Of these, six rows will be spread over 44 km and 3.7 km. NHAI acquires a four -lea highway.
4. The Ministry of Transport and National Highways (Morth) oversees the expansion of 4 km on the Kadupudi highway. Chaitanya and Ms. Park JV have been entrusted with the responsibility of construction of DPR of this road.
5. On the highway from Vijayawada to Machilipnam .. The road will be widened only from the Orr Cross area.
6. It is not yet clear that the 19 -kilometer route from Benz Circle in Vijayawada to Porrani, Penmalur Junction and Kankipadu to Kalvendrapalam.
7. Vijayawada city is high in vehicle crowd. NHAI prefers port connectivity from highway. As part of it, officials say the ORR is currently focusing on connecting the port crossing the area.
