Warangal Airport: Mamunur Airport has failed to remove land acquisition – interaction with landlords ..!
The land of Warangal Mamunur Airport has not been affected. Additional Collector of Warangal, Sandhya, Ardivo Satyapal and other officials met on Thursday morning for land acquisition with farmers at Warangal District Collectorate Conference Hall. The talks have failed to reduce farmers’ compensation. As a result, the result of the fact is that the authorities will have to hold their heads on the land acquisition of Warangal Mamunur Airport.
253 acres are required
The state government has released Rs 205 crore on 17 November last year to acquire land. To end this, the authorities are working to collect land in the suburbs of Gunturupalli, Nakkalpalli and Gardepali villages near Mamunur Airport. To end this, about 233 acres of land has been completed recently from about 233 people. So far, farmers are not declining the compensation of those land.
Demand of Rs 2 crore per acre
The land required for renovation of the airport has 233 farmers from Nakkalpalli, Gunturupalli and Gardepali villages. A few days ago, as part of the land acquisition process, District Minister Konda Surekha, MP Kadam Kavya, Parkala, Vidhanpet Malas Revuri Prakash Reddy, KR Nagaraju and other leaders met with farmers and people from three villages on 7 November last year.
The farmers demanded that they be given land instead of land. But it has been completed by the survey authorities that this is not a possible task and compensation for the market rate compensation. Against this background, compensation was also received with farmers several times. Farmers are demanding compensation of Rs 2 crore per acre based on the price of the area. But the officials repeatedly interacted in the compensation of the farmers and tried to convince them to compensate up to Rs 30 lakh. The land acquisition process is not proceeding as farmers refuse to do so.
Once again, talks fail
Officers have been directed to complete the land acquisition process in view of the ambitious recovery of Mamunur Airport. On Thursday morning, Warangal Additional Collector Sandhyani, Ardivo Satyapal Reddy and other officials met with the farmers of the airport.
About 60 farmers from Gunturupalli, Nakkalpalli and Gadipali villages interacted in the Warangal Collection Conference Hall for about two hours. In some cases, officials have told the farmers that they will be compensated at some places at some places and compensation of up to Rs 60 lakh per acre. This led to the conversation ahead. Meanwhile, the talks finally concluded instead of success.
2 crores, to be given jobs: farmer
Landlord farmers have demanded that the land for Mamunur Airport be provided to the land farmers with compensation of Rs 2 crore per acre and their family members. He spoke to the media after failing to interact with the officials. He said that he would lose his livelihood for the airport.
He demanded compensation to give them land instead of land or to reduce an acre of Rs 2 crore. Otherwise, they have made it clear that they will not give land for renovation of the airport. Meanwhile, if the government is taking the issue of airport seriously, the issue of land acquisition has become a challenge for the authorities. It remains to be seen how the government is taking steps to demand farmers.
