YCP to Janasena: New complications with migrant leaders in Janasena
YCP to Janasena: Soon after YCP’s defeat in AP, all the disgruntled leaders are looking their way. In the process, the entry of Samineni Udayabha, who left YCP from Krishna district and joined Janasena, added new complications to the party. On one hand, despite being in Janasena, he is showing immense love for the YS family.
Samineni Uday Bhanu…NTR There is no one in the district politics who does not know his name. He is a person who has made his mark in the politics of Jaggayapet. He has served as an MLA three times… He has the experience of working as a government whip.
Uday Bhanu, who won from Jaggayapet in the 2019 elections, had calculated that he would become a minister… but that calculation was wrong… he was worried for a few days… and a campaign was launched that it was certain that he would become a minister. Be born in the expansion of the cabinet. But the then CM YS Jagan showed Udaybhanu’s stubbornness.
Due to this, Udayabha started showing disdain towards the party for some time, to appease him, the then YCP government appointed him as a member of the TTD board, just seven months before the elections.
It was said in a campaign that Samineni Udayabhanu is staying away from contesting the 2024 elections. Suspense remained till the end on whether Samineni Udaybhanu would get a seat in the calculations done by the AIPAC team. On one occasion it was reported that he asked his son to give up his seat. But keeping all this aside, Udaybhanu finally contested the elections and lost to TDP candidate Shriram Rajagopal (Dada).
Changed mind with defeat…
Since the first week of the election results, there were reports that Samineni Udaybhanu is joining Janasena. First they condemned him and then they became silent. Unusually, one day he announced that he was joining the party with Pawan Kalyan. The party scarf is also worn the next day.
Soon after joining the party, Udayabh was also appointed NTR District Janasena Party President. Actually, this decision was not liked by the long serving Janasena leaders. But the prominent leaders could not stand in front of the powerful leader Pawan Kalyan and after that the prominent leaders remained associated with the party’s activities.
With Udaybhanu joining Janasena, his followers also joined the party. Even leaders like Tanniru Nageswara Rao, who once served as his right hand man, did not join the Jana Sena after Udayabhanu.
On the other hand, Samineni Udayabhanu also reluctantly remains in the Jana Sena. A recent picture of Samineni Udayabhanu’s house gives rise to these doubts. In this photo, Samineni Udayabhanu is celebrating the birthday of an activist at her home. Behind it, on one side was the picture of Janasena chief Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, while on the other side was the picture of former Chief Minister, late leader Rajashekhar Reddy.
Jana Sena is a major party in the ruling NDA coalition. Pawan Kalyan is not only limited to the departments assigned to him as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, but wherever there is a problem, he is taking complete control of the administration. But the fact that a district level leader of his party still lingers in the memories of the party he left is also confusing some Janasena cadre.
There are also complaints that Udayabha has not included the local Janasena cadre who have been working in Jaggayyapet for a long time. Earlier on the day of Chandrababu’s arrest when Pawan Kalyan was stopped from entering AP near Jaggayyapet, some prominent followers of Udaybhanu had taken action against Pawan Kalyan… All of them are now promoted as Jana Sena leaders. Are happening and have complained to the party. Opponents allege that along with Udaybhanu, some councilors had also joined Janasena, but after that no major activities of the party took place.
