TG Indiramma Awas Yojana: Lakhs of applications.. Thousands of houses.. Who will get it in the first phase?
Regarding Indiramma’s houses, the surveyors went to those who applied to the public administration and entered the details in the app. The choice of beneficiaries remains. In the first phase, officials are set to identify those who own land and are eligible for the scheme. Each application is being examined from all angles through a detailed app.
No chance for them..
Details based on the applications are entered into the app. Even though Indiramma is entitled to a house in the survey, if the comprehensive household survey reveals that she is paying income tax and has a house and car in another area, the application will be rejected.
In the first phase, the government has announced to provide houses to those poor who have their own land. A thorough investigation will be conducted in this matter along with other details available with the government.
The eligible list will be prepared on the 18th of this month in respect of the beneficiaries of Indiramma Awas. These lists will be displayed in the gram sabhas to be held from 21st of this month. The beneficiaries are selected publicly. Officials say that this process will be completed by the 26th of this month.
Where and how many..
Firstly, the government decided to allocate 3,500 houses for each constituency in the state. However, there is no clarity on how much should be allocated to villages and towns. The officials have focused on this.
The details of 3500 houses sanctioned village and town wise will be handed over to the minister in-charge of the district. Clarity on how many houses will be given to each village and town is possible only after the approval of the Minister in-charge.
Basically it seems that the poor, single women, widows and disabled will be given preference in the selection. Indiramma committees play a major role in the selection of beneficiaries in villages. However, allegations are being made that political interference is increasing because of these committees.
Only in 3 districts..
A total of 69 lakh 83 thousand 895 applications were received in 32 districts. Out of these, 68 lakh 8 thousand 923 applications were surveyed and details were recorded in the app. Barring the GHMC area, 97 per cent of the Indiramma House app survey work has been completed till Thursday. 100 per cent of the survey was completed in Siddipet, Karimnagar and Sangareddy districts, 99 per cent in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Mulugu, Kamareddy districts and 98 per cent in Mahabubabad, Mahabubnagar, Jagityala, Nagarkurnool, Peddapalli, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwala districts.
