Yamaha R15: This bike is the highest pursuit of youth recorded with 1 million products

Yamaha R15 dominates Super Sport Motorcycle in India. Since the launch of the bike in 2008, more than 1 million units have been produced. Yamaha has set a new record by producing 1 million units from its Surajpur plant. Nine of these are selling bikes in India and the country’s most important sports bike is R15.

Yamaha always updates R5 with technology and design. It is very popular among the riders. Yamaha President Itar Otani said that the company was trying to improve the ride experience with every new version.

Yamaha R15 different models are available in the market. This includes Yamaha R15V4. The bike comes with a quick shifter and a new intensity white. The Yamaha R5 has a new LCD display. This gives the riders the best experience. Both these bikes were made according to the OBD 2 rules. This will improve their performance.

Engine, performance

The bike receives 155 cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-supernatural engine. It contains a variable valve reality (VVA) technique. The engine performs 18.14 bhp power at 10,000 rpm and 14.2Nm at 7,500 rpm. It comes with the help of 6-speed gear box, slip and clutch.

The first model of the Yamaha R15 began in 2008 with a liquid-cooled engine, a dicor cylinder, deltabox frame. In 2011 (R15V 2.0), aluminum swing arm, improved with sports designs. The version was later designed in 2015 (R5S) in view of the rider facility. In 2018 (R15V3), 155 CC VVA engine, Assist, Slipper Clutch, Inverted Forks and LED lighting have new features.
