Tirumala Leopard: Leopard attack in Tirumala, TTD employee seriously injured

Tirumala Leopard: Once again there is a stir in Tirumala due to the movement of leopards. A TTD employee riding a two-wheeler spotted a leopard on the roadside in Alipiri. He was very scared by this. The bike went out of control and collided with the divider. The victim suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was immediately admitted to a hospital in Tirupati and is being treated. After knowing about this, TTD officials alerted the devotees about the cheetah movement.

TTD employee Vijayakumar, who was riding a bike, panicked when he saw a leopard crossing the road near Vedic University. In this sequence, the bike went out of control and collided with the divider..he was seriously injured. Vijayakumar was taken to the hospital. Devotees are afraid of leopards on this route. After receiving this information, forest and TTD employees alerted the devotees. All devotees have been warned to remain alert and take proper precautions. Forest officials entered the field with Cheetah Movement. The leopard is being searched. They are discussing installing trap cameras and bones to catch the leopard.

Distribution of ex-gratia checks to Tirupati stampede victims

The TTD Board has decided to distribute ex-gratia amount to the families of six people killed in the Tirupati stampede incident. The distribution of checks to this extent will start from January 12. A meeting was held with board members at his camp office in Tirumala under the chairmanship of TTD Chairman BR Naidu on Saturday afternoon. Two committees comprising some of the board members were formed to personally meet the family members of the six deceased and distribute ex-gratia checks to them.

The team visiting Vizag and Narsipatnam includes board members Jotula Nehru, Janga Krishnamurthy, Panabaka Lakshmi, Janaki Devi, Mahendra Reddy, MS Raju and Bhanu Prakash Reddy. Ramamurthy, Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, Naresh Kumar, Shantha Ram, Suchitra are all in the committee of board members visiting Tamil Nadu and Kerala. They will visit the homes of the families of the deceased in the respective areas and along with the local MLAs will present checks of Rs 25 lakh to each of them. Similarly, these committees also verify and collect employment and education details of the concerned families to provide free education in TTD institutions with a contract job for each family.

Apart from this, the members of this committee will give Rs. An ex-gratia check of Rs 5 lakh and a check of Rs 2 lakh will also be distributed to the partially injured.
