WhatsApp new features: New features in WhatsApp; chatting is more interesting
New features of WhatsApp: With the aim of improving the user experience, WhatsApp has released an update with new features. This update allows users to create custom stickers directly using their phone’s camera. Plus, it introduced new camera effects for selfies and faster chat responses.
new camera effects
WhatsApp explained in a recent blog post that these new features are aimed at making WhatsApp more fun and user-friendly. The update includes 30 new backgrounds, filters, and effects for users to apply to photos or videos in chat. These updates are useful for further personalizing chats and improving visual content.
selfie stickers
The Selfie Stickers feature allows users to turn their selfies into stickers by tapping the “Create sticker” icon or using the camera. The feature, which is currently available for Android users, will also be coming to the iOS version soon. WhatsApp has now also made it easier to share WhatsApp sticker packs. Users can now easily share their favorite sticker packs in chats.
instant message responses
Another big change brought by WhatsApp is faster message response. With this feature, users can now respond instantly to a message by double-tapping it. It also makes it easier to access frequently used responses. This speeds up the process of expressing emotions without typing responses. These updates are being implemented gradually. Users will need to update their apps to access these features.
ai tab
WhatsApp is testing a reverse image search feature to help combat misinformation. The feature, which was previously available in Android beta, is now being tested in WhatsApp Web beta. This feature allows users to verify images shared with them using Google reverse image search. This helps to identify edited or manipulated images more easily without downloading them. On the other hand, WhatsApp is replacing the Community tab with a new ‘AI’ (Artificial Intelligence) tab. Here users can create custom AI chat bots. Meta is also working on a new Meta AI widget that provides easy access to its generative AI service like ChatGPT.
