Amarvati: Amarvati’s new railway line has been completed in four years, 20 stations under Amrit India -Vijayawada DRM
Amravati Railway Line: The Center has allocated huge funds to Andhra Pradesh in the railway budget. A budget of Rs 9,417 crore has been allocated for the development of railway in AP. Vijayawada Divisional Manager Narendra Anandarao Patil said that 20 railway stations are being developed under Amrit Bharat stations in Vijayawada Railway Division. Rajmundri railway station has approved Rs 271.43 crore for redevelopment.
New railway line on Amravati
Vijayawada Railway Division has earned a gross revenue of Rs 4,864.57 crore till January in the current financial year. Divisional Railway Manager Narendra Anandrao Patil said that NSG -1 has earned more than Rs 500 crore. The construction of a new railway line will be completed between Amarvati in four years between Irupalem and Nambur. Currently, the process of construction of the track continues.
DRM recalled that the new railway line was approved by the Union Cabinet in October last year with Rs 2,545 crore. The railway line is built from Amravati to Guntur, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and several parts of Chennai. Its purpose is to earn more than Rs 5,000 crore from Vijayawada Division this year. It is learned that a 128 -km automatic signaling system has been completed between Vijayawada and Visakha Division. During Sankranti, 86 percent of trains in Vijayawada Division were run with a time ban.
Rs.9417 crore for the development of railway in AP
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that a budget of Rs 9,417 crore has been allocated for the development of railway in Andhra Pradesh. He said that this was 11 times more than the allocation of the last UPI government. Chandrababu thanked the Union Minister for getting good support from the state government for railway projects worth Rs 84,559 crore in AP.
Currently, there are 8 Indian trains in 16 districts of AP. Ashwini Vaishnav said that India will soon allot more trains. The minister said that AP will be developed in various railway tracks at a speed of 110, 130 and 160 km / h in AP. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has laid the foundation stone for railway projects worth Rs 6,177 crore.
